SchoolDude News!

As of January 1, Computer support will require a SchoolDude Request! Joe is reccomending that you make as requestors at your school as possible.

Making New Requests

To create a new requestor, the first time you log into www.myschoolbuilding.com, you will be prompted to enter an account number. Use: 485421462. This will only be required one time. With following logins, you will be prompted to put in your username which is your tennash email address.

Each Computer should be assigned a new incident or request.

There are seven steps to completing a request.

Step 1:

Enter your contact info and click remember!

Step 2: Be sure to include the Area and Room in the location box.
Step 3: Click on the icon that represents your problem. Icon will change to OK. To change to another, simply click on another icon.
Step 4: In the infomation box, put computer infomation first! Include the Computer model and service tag infomation, serial numbers...
Step 5: Add attachments or screen shots here if necessary.
Step 6: Use your password to submit.
Step 7: Click submit. If you don't click the submit button, your request will be lost.

You will be notified of changes in status to your request.

Responding to Requests

If you recieve requests in your email, you will want to go to itd.schooldude.com to update, respond or promote the request.

Use the link on the specific incident to see more details. Usually it is a number within the description of the request that is marked in red.

Make sure all information is correct before you send it on to another group. Use Assignment Infomation to select the Work Queue you need.

Remember that most incidents should be directed to the STS team which servers your school or location. Try not to assign it to a specific person unless you are sure that it is the person's responsibility.

Try to respond promptly!
