All instructions for this section are written so that you can work in a class at the Tech Center on iPhoto or work on your own at home or at school!

Importing Pictures

Download the following picutres file to begin practicing importing and using iPhoto. Click on the link below to download or hold down the control key while you click to get a menu. In the menu, choose "Download Linked File."

Full Size Images (Zip Folder)

• Double click on the Zip file to open.
• Open iPhoto and from the menus, choose >File >Import to Library.
• In the Import window that opens, choose the desktop and then choose the unzipped file PhotoCorrectFull.

• Select the top picture in the list (make sure you are in list view!)

• Hold down the shift key and select the bottom picture in the list. This will select all of the pictures in the window at the same time.

• Click  
• All of your images will be imported into iPhoto and ready to begin editing! Other images can be imported the same way.
• When you hook up a camera to your computer, iPhoto will open and images will go into iPhoto automatically, unless, of course, you have changed the preferences.
