When editing your own images, it is a good idea to duplicate the image before you make changes. To duplicate an image, click on the image to select, then from the menus, choose Photos>Duplicate.
Rotate:
Examine the two pictures below. One has been rotated to make it upright.

- Open iPhoto.
- Find the picture labeled PhotoCorrections-7. (Picture of Tower)
- Double Click on the image to begin editing the image.
Use the button marked rotate in the lower left corner of the screen to rotate the image. Click Done.
Crop:
Examine the images below. One has been cropped to create more empasis and interest to the image.

- In iPhoto, find the image on the left in your gallery. (PhotoCorrections-8)
- Double Click on the image to edit.
- Click the Crop Button,

- Place your curser on the sides of the rectangle that appears and drag in or out to show your selection.
- Click on Crop again to set the crop.
- Click Done
