Using Handheld Computers in Knox County Schools

Knox County School staff members are currently using handheld computers in a variety of ways. Many teachers across the county have handhelds to support classroom management and grading programs. Administrators and office personnel are using handhelds to keep track of student schedules and emergency information with Star Mobile software by Century Software.

Teachers at Amherst Elementary School are using new handheld computers. Onsite training has allowed teachers to learn how to use the new equipment in their own school.
