Why Podcast?
Using video, audio and digital images have become a necessary and integral part of today’s classroom. Podcasting provides a way of automatically delivering audio and visual content through a subscription. While the term Podcast is derived from the popular Apple iPod, the content delivered in a podcast can be distributed and accessed on an iPod or computer of either Mac or Windows platform.
A podcast can be any type of audio or visual file. Imagine reviewing speeches, lectures, lessons and demonstrations at your own pace and when you have time. Students and teachers alike can produce useable classroom content that addresses a variety of learning styles.
