WebQuest Tools - Now that you have decided to create an actual webquest, you will need a number of tools to help you get started. All files found here are created in Microsoft Office but could easily be recreated in any other word processing program. We recommend the following process for completing your webquest: 1. Review the Intro and WebQuest Links to ensure you have a good grasp of a webquest and what it entails. Examine the easily available sites found on your topic. Complete a WebQuest Storyboard. This will get you focused and define your plan for a completed webquest. Be sure you have your essential question in mind. WebQuestStoryboard.dot 4. Extended Research. Find links to support each of the characters’ positions in your webquest. Provide at least four sources for each of the characters’ research. This is where your students will explore, read and learn. Copy and paste links into a word document for later use. You may want to give a short description of each site. 5. Decide on the type of program you will use to create your webquest.
