Training for Teachers

Classroom teachers have more resources available through technology than ever before.  Ongoing sustained training is the key in the effective use of technology to enhance student learning. Through current and updated training, teachers can help students create meaningful learning experiences using everchanging technology.

InTec Training

The Knox County Instructional Technology Department provides INTEC (Integrating Technology into the Curriculum) training at the Sarah Simpson Professional Development Technology Center. Teachers from each school have been selected by their principals or technology committee to attend seven days of training over a two year period. Read More...

Each Knox County school principal has chosen a BLTC (Building Level Technology Coach) that provides technology support for teachers in their respective schools.  Read More...

 

Additional Training Available
Knox County teachers and students participate in many types of instructional software programs such as Read 180, Plato and Classworks.
