My webquest was on the physics of roller coasters. This assignment has the students working in groups each with different job. One is the historian, one the designer, one the builder and one is the safety engineer. The webquest uses virtual reality to allow the students to play with height and velocity to create a roller coaster. There are high level thinking skills used in determining the process of making a roller coaster by dealing with acceleration, g-force, inertia and other aspects of roller coaster development.
