Class Two of Tech for Teachers!

ACTIVITY TWO: Review Webquest Sites and Rubric Websites
The following sites are on Knox County School's Instructional Technology website. Reveiw the material here to find out more about webquests.
WebQuests and Guides
Social Studies WebQuests
Think about how you could use WebQuests to enhance your classroom. Online students should add comments about webquests to their previous comments from activity one.
As you begin to look at more complex projects how will you know what your students are learning? How can they show that they "got" what you wanted them to understand?
Rubrics:
To assess learning with more complex projects, it is important to develop good assement tools like rubrics. Here are several links to online rubric builders. Review the links offered and choose one site to complete a rubric. (This can be a simple test rubric, with the object being to show that you can complete the rubric.) Send a link to your rubric including usernames and passwords in an email to your facilitators or send a copy of your rubric as an email attachment if possible.
