"Mine the Internet: From Educational Resources to Virtual Communities”

The standard class will explore a wide variety of web technologies available to students and teachers. We will learn to find lesson plans and put them together with lesson plans that others have tried and create a KCS Blog of Lesson Plans for KCS teachers. Conflicts with meeting times for ON-Site classes can be accommodated. Students can work with ON-Site facilitators to develop an individual study plan.

This one-credit-hour course is provided free-of-charge to educators who want to enhance their use of technology in the classroom. Students must meet the requirements of admission with Tennessee Tech.

Online classes will be taught by Tennessee Tech Staff.

Onsite Classes will be taught by KCS Instructional Technology Staff.
